DOMAIN
REGISTRATION

register a domain you are assigned a DNS number. For
convenience, a domain name is assigned to each unique web address (or
URL). This name typically reflects what the website is about, and in
some cases can be the exact name of the enterprise or person.

selecting a domain name, you will want to choose a word or
phrase (63 letters or less) that will be easy for people to remember;
followed by .com, .net, .info, .biz, and so on. At that point a search
is done to determine if that 'Domain Name' is available.
